This page needs some stronger participation. I'm hoping with the new release it will jazz things up (even our beloved Waiu is missing!). If the rest of the album is like what we've heard so far, then for me it's going to be in the running for album of the year. Here's the full version of "Drive" (thanks to Iotronica for finding this one).

If Very AIR is what you're looking for,
check out the latest Mogwai album:

Thanks for the video. I like the tune, but I wouldn't confuse it for AIR, or Tomorrow's World, etc. for that matter.

Interview in Mixmag. Apparently, JB is non-commital as to when or if AIR will regroup...

Air fizzled out during Pocket Symphony, in my opinion, and this latest incarnation is further proof. Another side project to wait through, to see if they reform and get their magic back. Ugh...

I don’t believe this for a single second.
I’m pretty sure they (AIR) will release new records in the near future.
It is just the end of an era (their contract with EMI).
They will probably sign a new record deal with a new company/label very soon.

Honestly the new album will have to be better than Love 2 (2009) which seemed like a throw up album to respect their contract with EMI.

Generally speaking I’m getting tired of all these side projects (City Reading, Darkel, Le Voyage dans la Lune, soundtracks for designers or fragrance, Tomorrow’s World, etc.). Ten years after its release who remembers about City Reading?

More intriguing is the bit: “Dunckel seems more interested in speculating with the photographer about the scientology network within Paris. “
