Make some 'Talkie Walkie' about Air

The first time I've heard Air it was on the french TV, it was a documentary about the french music in the world.
Then they was talking about Air, it was just when Moon Safari was released.

JB & Nicolas were in England & their english was so bad, so funny!
But I fell in love with their music & their universe, I did buy Moon Safari a few days after...
And I've never stopped to listen Air... :D
I love the way you look tonight...

it seems the BBC adores air - i think i've heard the entire walkie talkie album alone on various programs....everything from terrible 'home improvement' shows to serious documentaries

just this morning alone in kyoto (sp?) was almost totally played on a morning programme

Read in HOW TO BE GOOD, by Nick Hornby (who has written HIGH FIDELITY - for music nerds - and ABOUT A BOY).

The main character left her family to live a few days on her own. She speaks about living with other people.

And we drank wine, and listened to Air, who are French, and play mostly instrumentals that sound as if they are best heard in lifts. Air are my new favourite group, although Dick is a bit snooty about them, in his quiet, nervous way. He says there's much better ambiant French pop than this, and he could do us a tape if we wanted.
But to me Air sound modern and childless and single, compared to, say, Dylan, who sounds old and married and burdened - who sounds like home. If Air are Conran, then Dylan is the greengrocers. Mushrooms, lettuce and tomato, home to cook bolognese and prepare a salad, and how does it feeeeeeel ? To be on your oowwwn ?

By the way, Dick is one of the characters of HIGH FIDELITY, the Nerd of the nerds.
How does it...

...make you...

...feel ?

I've heard Sexy Boy and Kelly watch the stars as background music for a bunch of shows. I've heard Alpha Beta Gaga on a Starburst commerical, and I've also heard Playground Love in some commerical - I don't really remember what it was for.

I now two commercials including Air songs:
- The wah wah part of "All I need" for an insurance commercial (a few years ago)
- A part (2:40-3:00) of the virgin suicide track "Dirty Trip" for a panasonic commercial (1 - 2 years ago)
Thank god there's Air.
