Random Places You've Heard Air

Postby isle_of_lanai » Mon Jan 03, 2005 12:03 pm

I started this post to ask where you've heard Air (aside from when you were playing an album or at a concert). Maybe on TV or the radio, or maybe in a store, a club or blasting from someone's car, etc. For example--on TV I just heard the beginning of "La Femme d'Argent". It was used for a commercial advertising a Sex & The City DVD. The first I ever heard of Air was about 3 years ago, when "Playground Love" was used for a car commercial (Lincoln, I believe).

So where have you heard Air?

I have heard alot of air's music on documentaries. Most of the time it was "La Femme d'Argent". I heard "Sexy Boy" on Idol 2004 too, when one of the candidates introduced himself. 8)

And then I heard "Surfing on a Rocket" while playing fifa 2005 on xbox ...

Their music is very direct and "easy", so it's not surprising it's all over TV.

Yes...I also saw the Sex & the City advert last night with "La Femme d'Argent." I was thinking, "Dude, this song is so familiar..." :D

I think perhaps one of their songs may have been in a Skittles ad or something like that. Once I was in the supermarket and "La Femme" came on over the PA system. That was odd...especially in Florida.

SEX BORN POISON in a documentary about eagles.

There is a popular scientific TV Show in France, called E=M6 and they don't stop playing songs from Talkie Walkie.

... recently I heard "Electronic Performers" in a documentary about the flood catastrophy in South Asia ... isn't it possible to forbid this kind of misuse ?
Thank god there's Air.

On a TV show about cars, they talk about the new Renault Truck called... RADIAN !!! A truck is called after one of the best song ever...

The irony of all this ? During the show, when they talked about Radian (the truck), they played Zero7 songs !!!
