Tool to record audio stream

Hi Experts,

can you recommend a good freeware tool to record audio streams (or the equivalent soundcard analogue output) and turn it into mp3 ? I would to transfer such the myspace samples to my ipod and enjoy whereever I am ...

If I try http://www.myspace.com/jbdunckel there are no mp3 files

Any other idea to grasp the analogue output ?

On pc you should give Goldwave a try, make sure your settings are ok, otherwise you'll end up with some low quality mp3's.

On mac: Audio hijack pro

Hey!

Waiu, your link was brilliant. And stratos: A simple and free audio software ist Audacity ( audacity.sourceforge.net ), give it a try if you still need it.
The file2hd.com homepage only eats your pasted link and presents the location of your desired mp3s, you don't have to enter a special code at your browser's adress bar.
